Checking Out

In order to check out properly make sure you take care of the following:

  • Contact the caretaker for an appointment
  • Your room or apartment is in order


Appointment with your caretaker

On this appointment - the day of your departure-  the caretaker will inspect your room/apartment, during office hours. The accommodation should be clean and left in good condition. After inspection you will receive an inspection report.
Important: Make an appointment with your caretaker at least 5 days before departure!
On the day of your departure, you hand over the keys of your accommodation to the caretaker before 10:00 hrs.

Leaving outside office hours
If you leave before 08:30 or after 16:30 hrs., the inspection will take place the first working day after your departure. The caretaker will let you know where to leave the keys. The deposit will be transferred to your bank account. In order to do this we need your bank details (by e-mail).

Refund of your deposit
With the inspection report and your ID card you will receive a 'Payment Order' at the Accommodate office. With this order your deposit will be refunded in cash at the GWK Travelex office (at the train station). We can also transfer the amount to your bank account. In order to do this we need your bank details (by e-mail). Note that the bank will probably deduct bank charges, when transferring to a foreign bank account. When you share a room or apartment, please read the following.

Please note: the deposit will not be returned (or only partially) if the room is not clean, left in bad condition or you didn't pay your rent correctly.
