Checking In

In order to check in make sure you take care of the following:

• Payment of the first rent
• Bring the bank statement with you
• Contact the caretaker for an appointment

Appointment with your caretaker
The caretaker will hand over the keys to your new home. We strongly advise you to send them an e-mail 5 days before your departure, mentioning:

• The exact day and time of your arrival
• Your full address in Leiden

They will then confirm the definite date and time of your appointment. The appointment can only take place during office hours. If you don't receive his confirmation within 3 days, you can contact him by phone (during office hours at +31(0)71 516 17 18).

Arrival in Leiden
Upon your arrival in Leiden, you will first have to go to the Accommodate office at Rapenburg 33 to sign the housing agreement. After signing the lease, a caretaker will hand you your keys at the time and place you both agreed on.

Important: after having received the keys, please check if the inventory in your room/apartment is complete and in good condition. If this is not the case, report the details via the form you receive upon arrival or by e-mail (info@accommodate.nl) within 2 working days. We will then make sure everything is taken care of.
