This monumental building dates from 1827 and is built in a U-shape, with a large inner courtyard. At the back it looks out over a small canal and some trees. An oasis of peace situated in the centre of Leiden, approx. 10 minutes by bike from the train station. Kaarsenmakersstraat 7-121 has been renovated in 1992. It contains modern housing units with communal amenities.

• All rooms vary in size and price and are basically furnished
• The kitchens are shared with max. 10 persons per section
• The showers and toilets are shared with max. 4 persons per shower/toilet

• A communal living room and a laundrette with washing machines and dryers are available
• Houserules apply to this student house. You will receive a copy of these rules upon arrival.

Rent
The rent includes basic furniture, water, gas, electricity, internet, tv-connection and use of laundry facilities.

• Rents for single rooms range from 375 - 500 Euro p.m.
• Rents for twin rooms range from 450 - 550 Euro p.m.
